About Me

Hello! I'm Trisha Goldsborough, a recent graduate from Temple University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Communication Studies. My focus was on contemporary media environments and I minored in Advocacy. In 2023, my goal is to build a successful career in the fields of social media marketing and film production.

Since a young age, I have been drawn to my beloved movies and TV shows. This fascination drove me to start creating and performing in short films for YouTube, igniting a deep-seated interest in content creation and social media. I made a crucial decision, transferring from Stonehill College in Massachusetts to study at Temple University. Upon my arrival at Temple, I promptly secured a position as a social media intern and campaign coordinator with the Student Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), a student-run environmental advocacy group in Pennsylvania.

During my time at Temple University, I was eager to gain hands-on experience in film production by taking on roles such as key grip for the short film "SPIN" produced by Wandering Studios. Additionally, I worked as a camera operator for the TUTV show "Temple Tonight". Upon nearing the end of my college journey, I furthered my political skills during an internship with Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson. I worked as a temporary Marketing Manager at the Reading Film Office to create a compelling social media marketing campaign aimed at promoting the Reading Film Festival 2023. Strategies included consistent social media posts, press releases, email newsletters, the use of Constant Contact, and the application of SEO/SEM techniques online, all of which are designed to attract a younger audience. I have recently taken on the position of Director of Content Engagement with the nonprofit Film, Arts. Culture, and Tourism Specialists (FACTS). This role allows me to further apply my social media marketing skills while teaming up with a group of professionals to build a film network in Central Pennsylvania. Continuing my journey in the film industry, I do freelance Production Assistant work on the side.

When not working, I'm busy hanging out with my precious pups, Kasper and Wendy. Also, I enjoy learning lyrics to hip-hop, punk, or classic rock, you name it! My love for sound didn't just stop at learning though, it led me to create music and fiddle around with sound production. When I've got some extra time on my hands, I like lending my voice to characters through voice-over acting and dabbling in the exciting world of podcast creation.
